Technical Solution Specialist
Job Purpose · To act as a link between the TRI Sales and Marketing Teams, and the OPRA Product and Operations Teams. · To interface with the Product and Operations Teams to ensure good understanding of the technology value proposition and how to demonstrate that value to the market. · To demonstrate the value of TRI's technology and service solutions by providing targeted, consistent, high-quality demonstrations, tailored to the specific needs of any prospect. · To develop consistent, high-quality proposals and RFI / RFP responses.

Key Functions The key functions performed by the Technical Solution Specialist will include, but may not be limited to the following areas: Product Demonstrations · Develop a deep understanding of TRI's technical and service solutions in order to be able to effectively position TRI's solutions to any prospect's problems and pain points. · To communicate effectively with prospects in discovery meetings in order to understand the prospects, current state, ambitions, organisation structure and decision-making processes in order to develop presentations and demonstrations tailored to the needs of the prospect's organisation. · Create study datasets which allow the TRI solutions to be demonstrated clearly and effectively. · Run product demonstrations in a clear and consistent manner, tailored to the needs of each prospect. · Run public product demonstrations (webinars) on a periodic basis to support marketing activity. · Work with Product team to define requirements for proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations if needed to progress sales cycles.
Product Roadmap · Understand TRI's technology roadmap in order to be able to position upcoming features as a part of pre-sales engagement with prospects. · Support Marketing in defining value statements and messaging related to upcoming roadmap features Sales Support: · Develop comprehensive proposals and presentations that directly address prospect needs · Incorporate relevant case studies, alongside solution benefits to strengthen proposals · Offer solution expertise at various stages of the sales cycle to address technical questions and concerns · Provide valuable insights that help move deals forward and increase win rates · Develop and maintain a library of sales assets to improve the efficiency of proposal writing and RFP responses. · Include templates, case studies, product sheets, and other relevant materials · Streamline the proposal writing process and improve efficiency in responding to RFPs · Support Sales team members by attending meetings with prospects and clients at various stages in the sales cycle where solution expertise is needed. · Act as a point of contact for prospects to deal with solution and proposal queries
Skills & Qualifications
· Educated to degree level in relevant technical or scientific field · Minimum of 3 years' experience in pre-sales or technical solution consultation · Minimum of 5 years' clinical research industry experience · Strong communication skills, ability to make a positive impact with internal and external stakeholders · Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders · Good knowledge of clinical systems and sales management systems · Strong organizational and administration skills to ensure work is prioritized and delivered on time · Excellent presentation skills · Good problem-solving skills, with a customer centric approach · Good knowledge and experience in the following: o Clinical trial process, ICH E6 (GCP), ICH Q9 (Quality Management) and 21 CFR Part 11
